Virtual Doula Support
As future parents things can get hectic before your new arrival makes their debut. The COVID-19 virus has now been classified as a global pandemic, which has led to daily policy changes in our healthcare systems. The devastating reality is starting to emerge on how COVID-19 is impacting both infected and non infected families. As the healthcare system is inundated by cases and ever changing policy changes families need to realize that the level of care they would expect during their birth processes have changed overnight (sometimes on an hourly basis). School, restaurant, and public gathering closures have become mandated all over the US and the world in an effort to flatten the curve. The healthcare industry is overwhelmed by cases of the virus, thus impacting the other sectors of the medical field such as labor and delivery.
